Indooroopilly Shopping Centre is proud to be a partner of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower initiative. A globally recognised program supporting people living with non‑visible (hidden) disabilities.
Not all disabilities are immediately visible. The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower provides a discreet way for individuals to indicate they may need a little extra time, understanding or support while shopping or accessing services. By wearing the Sunflower symbol, customers can choose to share that they have a hidden disability without having to explain it.
As a Sunflower partner, Indooroopilly Shopping Centre is committed to creating a more inclusive, welcoming environment for our community. Our centre supports the initiative by raising awareness and helping ensure customers who choose to wear the Sunflower are met with patience, respect and understanding during their visit.
