Children’s Hospital Foundation funds cutting-edge equipment, vital research and on the ground support for kids throughout Queensland and northern New South Wales.
As the only charity in Queensland catering for kids with all illnesses, injuries and conditions, the scope and impact of their work runs far and deep. The Foundation proudly supports and works alongside Children’s Health Queensland and the Queensland Children’s Hospital – playing an important part in what has become one of the world’s best paediatric hospitals.
On any given day, the team at the Queensland Children’s Hospital treat more than 200 children in its emergency department, see around 1,000 children for outpatient appointments and care for over 200 children as inpatients.
The Foundation team operate on the ground – in the wards, waiting rooms and research centres, connected to the doctors, nurses and health professionals, the ones caring, supporting, and treating sick, ill and injured kids every hour of every day.
They exist for every kid that ever needs them, no matter who, where or when, working tirelessly to be the difference every kid deserves.
