Established in 1936, Shingle Inn originally opened as a tea house and restaurant on Edward Street, Brisbane. Instantly developing a strong reputation with locals, Shingle Inn became a busy landmark renowned for its all-day menu, delicious coffee, high-tea, decadent sweet treats and famous cakes. As Shingle Inn expanded to over 50 locations nationally, these attributes have continued to delight customers for over 80 years. Today, we continue to bake an array of traditional and innovative products from our exclusive bakery in Brisbane.

The Shingle Inn Bakery have launched a new item, available for a limited time only in their much-loved cafes across Australia. Introducing the Apple Crumble Studel. Made with soft strudel pastry and filled with diced apple, cinnamon sugar, sultanas and curants then topped with crumble.

Served in-store warmed up and with your choice of cream or ice-cream to compliment your taste buds. Best enjoyed with a tea or coffee while relaxing in one of Shingle Inn’s signature luxurious high-back chairs.
