Important update regarding COVID-19

Last night, Friday 28 August, at approximately 9pm, QLD Health updated the official contact tracing list on their website.
A customer, who has now been confirmed positive to Coronavirus, visited Kmart on Saturday 22 August between 3.15pm – 4.45pm. Kmart is the only reported store that this customer visited on this date/time.
 
As previously communicated to both our customers and retailers, Indooroopilly Shopping Centre was also visited on August 17 and August 19 by two customers who had tested positive to Coronavirus. In response to this notification, the centre, through our service providers, conducted a deep clean and disinfected the Centre on the evening of Saturday 22 August (therefore after this customer visited Kmart).
 
Kmart has also undertaken a thorough clean and is open today.
QLD Health have advised people if you become or have already become unwell with any symptoms of COVID-19, please isolate yourself and get tested.
 
The health and safety of our customers and retailers continues to be our primary focus. We will continue to monitor this issue and if there is any change in advice, we will notify our valued retailers and customers as appropriate.

Indooroopilly Shopping Centre has this afternoon received confirmation from Metro North Public Health that two customers, who have tested positive to Coronavirus, visited the centre on Monday 17 August between 11am-1pm and Wednesday 19 August between 1pm-4pm.
 
Stores the customers visited include Origin Kebab and Bupa Health on 17 August, and David Jones, Myer, Sweets from Heaven and Touch of India on 19 August.
 
Whilst awaiting confirmation from Metro North Public Health overnight, (Saturday 22 August)  Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, through our service providers, conducted a deep clean and disinfected the Centre with the focus on key areas such as hard surfaces, food courts and bathrooms. The affected stores have also conducted a deep clean.
 
Upon confirmation by Metro North Public Health this afternoon, a memo was circulated to all of our retail partners.
 
Indooroopilly Shopping Centre has not yet appeared on the official list from Queensland Health at this stage, however, we have chosen to share this information with our community as soon as confirmation was received. We expect to be added to the official list in the coming hours.

Our cleaning team is on high rotation, focusing on key areas such as hard surfaces and bathrooms, plus we have facilities in place to support our customers and tenants to practice good hygiene, such as hand sanitisers at high traffic areas and entry and exit points.
